Technology Thread

-  Wordle Project -- Printouts to display in TAG Room

-  Google Suite -- Blogger, Calendar, Docs, Google Notebook, Google Sites, Google Earth, etc.

-  Create Google.com "Homepage"; work with Google Widgets and add to Homepage

-  Read the book, "Gossamer" by Lois Lowry, Class Discussion

-  Attend play at First Stage Children's Theater -- "Gossamer"

-  Participate in "Dreamgiver" Writing Activity -- Bring in Object of personal importance, List fragments, create "story" dream (Using Microsoft Word or Google Docs)  Take photo of object.  Submit story and photo to be included on www.chrislonge.com

-  Distribute "Midwest Academic Talent Search" information -- envelope and website

-  Explore www.flickr.com, www.taggalaxy.de, www.fotoflexer.com and www.photobucket.com

-  7th Grade Voki Project -- www.voki.com;  introduce www.voki.com; create a voki and type in a greeting in a foreign language (French or Spanish) and send voki to foreign language teacher in email.

-  Animoto Project -- create music video; submit embedding code for your animoto to Mrs. Longe to be included on www.chrislonge.com

-  Mock Newbery Book Club

-  Choose a "Service Project" subject, research (answering the questions Who, What, Where, When, Why and How), create website at Google Sites and submit website URL to Mrs. Longe for inclusion at www.chrislonge.com
